Meet our Director
Chris Pitter is the Director of Sierra Christian Service Camp.
A Letter From the Director
For those of you who have not had the chance to meet my wife and I yet, we both graduated from William Jessup University in Rocklin. Molly has her degree in Bible, Music and Worship and I have my degree in Bible and Youth Ministry. We have served in Christian camping at Wolf Mountain Camp in Grass Valley and Koinonia in Watsonville. I worked in the maintenance department and Molly worked as a horse wrangler. We celebrated the birth of Jack Pitter in August 2008, and the birth of Andy Pitter in March 2010!
As the director of Sierra Christian Service Camp I hope to take the camp into a new time of its life. We have made a lot of big improvements in the last couple of years and there still is much work to be done. We owe much thanks and appreciation to many faithful volunteers who have dedicated their time and weekends to improving our wonderful camp!
Camp is all about stepping out of your ordinary daily routine and creating time in your life to connect with other people and grow in your relationship with God. Here at camp we have a beautiful outdoor setting, quality staff, and a program designed to help you experience God. Our summer camps and family camps make it a priority to spend time in worship, prayer, and study of God’s Word. Take time to connect with people and get to know them. Have fun throwing some horseshoes, playing volleyball, swimming in our pool, but most importantly, relax and enjoy the good company of others!
